After presenting at the 2024 IUFRO conference in Stockholm, David visited Dr Søren Nors Nielsen, emeritus associate professor at Aalborg University in Copenhagen, with whom he had fruitful exchanges on the theoretical and methodological framework he his currently developing as part of his thesis. Through the integration of allometry and biophysical theories of ecosystems, this framework will aim to better understand and assess the ecological integrity of urban forests.
