Hello! My name is Amy Badi. I am a graduate of the "EWM" program at Vanier college, which is technical program about the environment, wildlife, and the techniques to be a good technician in a laboratory setting and on the field. I plan to continue my studies at the university level once the pandemic is over and I will be able to attend in-person classes. Being an intern at UQAM is my first job in the environmental field and I love the experience!

I am interested in ecology, birds, fish, and natural history museum collections. In the future, I hope to study the effects of climate change on plants – more specifically, the movement or the disappearance of species in Canada. I work mostly in IDENT, an experiment forest, for Orane Mordacq's phenology project.
