Hannah is pursing a masters in Biology at the University of Montreal, after having completed their bachelors degree in Human Environment and Biology at Concordia University in 2019, followed by a certificate in Geospatial Technologies in 2021. They have worked on projects involving wetland restoration, pollinators, and urban green spaces.

Their graduate research will examine the impacts of runoff, particularly saline runoff, on trees within roadside tree pits. This research aims to inform tree pit design and management, resulting in maximum runoff retention while also maintaining urban tree health.
