Passionate about evolutionary mechanisms and ecosystem health, I have decided to pursue my academic journey in biology at UQAM. As such, I am particularly interested in the causes and consequences of climate disruptions and aspire to have a career in this research field. During my time at CEGEP, I was involved in several projects focused on preserving urban biodiversity. Therefore, as a first-year bachelor's student intern, I am thrilled to join Sarah Tardif's project. Her project has particularly caught my attention because it focuses on identifying allergenic pollens, causing public health issues that are exacerbated by the lengthening of the pollen season due to global warming.
